SCHA sends out a new member packet that contains resources useful to new homeschoolers. We also have volunteers (listed to the right) who are ready and willing to answer your questions.

The Sonoma County Office of Education publishes a Public School Independent Study/Home Study Program List.

> HSC (Homeschooling Association of California) publishes a booklet of information for new homeschoolers, From Chaos to Confidence, plus the HSC website has a lot of up to date info on homeschooling in California. HSC's yearly conference is in Sacramento in August (lots of Sonoma County homeschoolers go) and is a wealth of information and support for California homeschoolers new and old.

> CHN (California Homeschool Network) also has lots of information on homeschooling in California. Their conference is held in Southern CA.
