About Us
The Sonoma County Homeschoolers Assocation (SCHA) is a network of approximately 200 families in Sonoma County who share an interest in homeschooling. While we don't all share the same educational philosophies, we do share a desire to provide our children with the education of our choosing. SCHA is a member supported organization which strives to provide a network allowing homeschooling families to connect with other homeschooling families, information about homeschooling and homeschooling resources, and outreach to families interested in homeschooling in Sonoma County.

Membership benefits include:

	A monthly newsletter/activity schedule
	Scheduled field trips and other homeschooling activities
	A member-only e-mail forum and bulletin board
	A membership roster of SCHA families
	A discount on attendance to SCHA special events
	An SCHA membership card that can be used to receive teacher's discounts at a variety of businesses including: Borders 20%, Barnes & Nobel 20%, Walden Books 20%, Joann Fabrics 10%, Kinko's 10%.

Outreach
Our efforts to reach out and make ourselves available to all homeschoolers in Sonoma County include holding Homeschool Information Meetings, homeschooling mini-conferences, and business meetings. Look for information on these events on our Special Events page. We also maintain this webpage so that people can find us more easily.
